Welcome to RockTheCity.net’s electrifying online Model Competition: Rock Your City! Get ready as we gear up to host thrilling online events across various vibrant cities including New York, Nashville, Florida, and The Bahamas.
Mark your calendars for our grand kickoff event in January 2024, right in the heart of New York City!
Aspiring models, this is your chance to shine! Submit your original photos or videos on our website and stand a chance to claim the title of Best Rock City Model, determined by the number of likes on our webpage or YouTube channel.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
You’ve got to be 18 years or older on the day of registration. All entries must be original, unpublished works solely by the entrant(s), not any commercially published material.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
• Contestants can submit 1 to 3 original, unpublished photos or videos. When registering, upload your JPG photos or video in MP4 format, along with a headshot and bio (PDF) to be featured in our online and digital booklet.
• Email your submissions to talent@rockthecity.net. Contestants retain the copyrights to their submitted materials. Payments are due upon registration. Rock City holds no responsibility for late, lost, or damaged entries, including unsuccessful file uploads. Submitted materials won’t be returned, and Rock City reserves the right to handle submissions at its discretion.
ENTRY FEES:
1 submission = $35.00
2 submissions = $45.00
3 submissions = $50.00
CONTEST ENTRY:
• The contest begins on January 2nd and closes on February 7th, 2024. Send your submission to talent@rockthecity.net before January 29th, 2024, at 12 midnight.
ONLINE SUBMISSION: Upload or attach your photos or videos and submit. Payment accepted via Credit Card.
HOW IS THE WINNER CHOSEN:
– The contest happens in real-time, with votes counted by YouTube or Webpage in real-time. Contestants can watch the entire process unfold live and witness their victory. The winner gets an all-expenses-paid trip (round-trip airfare and hotel) to Nashville or The Bahamas (passport required) on a date to be announced.
HOW ROCK CITY’S CONTEST WORKS:
• Submit 1-3 original works.
• Use phone, computer, tablet, camera, etc. for submission (format: jpg or mp4).
• The most video likes determine the winner (it’s that simple).
• The winner travels to Nashville or The Bahamas for promotional photoshoots and/or website feature on a date to be announced.
• The winner’s accommodations and airfare are covered. Please note, this isn’t a paid performance but for promotional purposes only.
• In the event the winner can’t travel on the discussed dates, the winner forfeits his/her prize and the second place or third place winner will travel and take his/her place.
CONTEST TERMS OF USE:
Contestants grant Rock City rights to use all submitted materials for promotional purposes across all media platforms, both digital and printed, including audio/visual formats.
Moreover, should Rock City act as an agency and secure bookings for the model, a 15% or market rate finder’s fee will apply.
