Bahamian crooner Julien Believe and acclaimed author Veronica McFall made a special appearance at Brunchin’ Like A Bahamian, held in Brooklyn, New York, on Sunday, July 13th. The cultural event was hosted by the Bahamian American Heritage Alliance (BAHA) and brought together Bahamian pride and Caribbean flair in the heart of the city.

The crowd was treated to a live performance of the new hit single “Dance On Dem” by Julien Believe and DJ D Rell, who also served as the track’s Executive Producer. The song’s production credits also include Shine 242 and Jason “Shaft” Bishop, further highlighting the collaborative spirit of Bahamian musical talent.

This marks the second BAHA showcase this year, and organizers were eager to mix things up by spotlighting not just music, but literature as well. Veronica McFall, the featured author, presented her children’s book “A Visit to The Bahamas from A to Z”, a vibrant exploration of Bahamian culture and language. The book is currently available online at Amazon, and for those in The Bahamas, it can be purchased at the University of The Bahamas Bookstore.

BAHA extends heartfelt thanks to all the Bahamian Americans and local New Yorkers who came out to support. Be sure to stay tuned to our website for updates on our next event, scheduled for Labour Day Weekend!
