Catch the 242 Vibes in Brooklyn Tomorrow

Brooklyn, are you ready? Tomorrow, Sunday, July 13th, all roads lead to Yummy’s Restaurant for Brunchin’ Like A Bahamian — a cultural celebration hosted by the Bahamian American Heritage Alliance and spotlighting powerful talent from The Bahamas.
DJ D Rell, born in Eleuthera and raised in New York City, will bring his signature blend of Bahamian Rake n Scrape, Dancehall, and global sounds to the heart of Brooklyn. With performances that have energized crowds from Knicks playoff parties to national news features, DJ D Rell knows how to move a room and uplift a community through music.
Joining him is fellow DJ and Rake n Scrape specialist DJ K Dawg, who will be spinning throughout the event and keeping the Bahamian vibes flowing with classic sounds from the islands.
Also featured is Bahamian children’s author Veronica McFall, who will be on hand with her inspiring books, celebrating Bahamian storytelling and creativity.
Bahamian superstar Julien Believe is set to make a special appearance, adding even more energy and excitement to the afternoon.
The event commemorates the Bahamas’ 52nd Independence Day with a powerful mix of authentic food, music, and culture. It runs from 1 PM to 6 PM at Yummy’s Restaurant, located at 706 Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn.
Admission is free with RSVP at baha52.eventbrite.com.
